Cade : 2 weeks in this world

Had a great time with this sweet boy and his Mom and Dad.  Two weeks old, with eyes full of wonder.

katie - oh! to have a newborn again! you better believe this mama is getting the itch…

To have a two week old again…

I had to stop mid-edit and post these photos.  I keep looking at this gorgeous little boy and my mommy brain kicks in and the words loop in my head, “There is no way my daughters were ever this little!”  I don’t want the sleepless nights back, but a few moments like these– before the commencement of crawling to empty my tupperware drawer and back-to-back time outs (both of which provide angst and laughter at varying times)– I definitely covet.

Sweet Ryker : Sneak Peek

Just as I suspected, this little guy is uber sweet, but with a mischievous smile (just like his Daddy).  Tonka trucks, Daddy’s rafting gear, and all sorts of fun props made their way into the photos, but in the end I just couldn’t get past these quietly sweet photos to share with you! But, perhaps a few more posts in the future are warranted to display all of the other fun photos!

Shadow Puppets & Candy Corn

It’s been a year since I photographed this dynamic quartet.  Remember how cute they were back then?  Still cute.  Maybe even cuter.  We rendezvoused at the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge, a home to many key moments in my life (i.e. sweet moments of solitude in my high school years, first kiss with now hubby, marriage proposal… I did say key moments right?)  The sun lovingly decided to grace us with its presence and the girls were both in a bit of a saucy mood, which made for lots of laughter.  Also, my smart sister had the foresight to bring along candy corn as “smile” bribery.  Hilarity. Both girls spent most of their time screaming CANDY CORN at the top of their lungs.  I loved it.

Holly Monahan - Erin I love these pictures! You got some really great expressions!

Nichols a la Orchard

F-U-N.  A genuine good time running around a wintery pear orchard with this sweet family.  Hardly had to pose a single shot… just followed everyone around like I was the paparazzi!  So many beautiful moments observed and captured, I could hardly choose which photos to post. I am thinking we will need to do a Spring shoot in this same location, because it amazing how both children and trees can transform after a single season.
